Light Bearers Bulletin (December 2019 Edition)

People in our age dislike these two words ‘Obedience and holiness”.  In their own views, it fights against their independence. They want to live a life that is totally alienated from the word of God.

In our age, we celebrate individualism and right to self-determination; Even in the Church, we believe that our obligation to obey God or live life of holiness has been discharged by the act of believing in Jesus on the day we gave our lives to Jesus, but we need to know that nothing genuine can be done by man until his will is surrendered in active obedience.

Whenever sin, works of flesh and worldliness are mentioned, some Christians feel uncomfortable and view those words as burden. They can only be a great burden if we carry them with our head knowledge but if we can embrace them with the heart of faith, they become light.

Today we shall look at two additional enemies that Christians should watch out for in the journey of faith.

  1. Worldliness– Worldliness is accepting and going along with the views and practices of the society around us without discerning if they are in the Bible. Worldliness covers teachings in the Church that demand no radical breach in man’s fallen nature.

Worldliness starts when Christians begin to compromise their faith and gradually extends to trying to fit in, which will eventually lead to unabated urge to go with the flow and finally blend in with the world.

Jesus said in 1 John 2:15 – Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the father is not in him.

  1. Satanic Temptations– Our major enemy is Satan. He doesn’t come to you dressed in black suit or wear black cap and pointing horn. He comes through the instruments of temptations. Remember one of his names in the Bible is “tempter”

Mathew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, if you be son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

While most Christians focus on instrument of human enemies, Satan simply gets the work done through his seeds on our heart.  Proverb 4:23 says Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are issues of life.

Whenever Satan sows the thought of envy, hatred, retaliation or any wrong acts, how do you handle it? Do you love and cherish those thoughts or reject the seed? May God help us to guard our hearts.

Iran is rated as the country with the fastest growing Church in the world. Is this a fulfillment of Bible Prophecy?

Jeremiah 49:38-39 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from them the king and the princes, saith the Lord. 39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the Lord.

The name Elam in the Bible is the cities that occupy the South-West of modern Iran. Jeremiah prophesy that in the latter time, God will set His throne in Iran (Elam).

The report reaching us from Frontier Alliance International (FAI) and other International Christian Organizations reveals that Iran is witnessing a revival of harvest of large number of souls on daily basis. Even Iran Intelligence Minister agrees that Christianity is spreading in his country.   To many Bible students, this is a fulfillment of Bible Prophecy and all we have to do is to pray that God should stretch forth His hand to win more souls.

There is a 2-hour documentary film “Sheep Among Wolves” by Frontier Alliance International that reveals the secret of their success. One of the leaders of the Church in that film says “If you plant a Church you might make disciples, but if you make disciples, you will plant Churches”. According to him, disciples are people that are conformed to the image of Christ and sanctified, not reading the Bible for information but for transformation. Another Christian leader in Iran said “Our model inside Iran is that we don’t convert to disciples, we disciple so we can convert”. One of the Christian leaders also said “What persecution did was to destroy the Church that focused on converts”. All these Church planters found that converts run away from persecution but disciples would die for the Lord in persecution.

55% of disciple makers are women who fearlessly go to the highways and byways sharing with prostitutes, drug dealers and everybody they came in contact with. They even have a prayer movement in Iran praying for the salvation of the Jews.

This is a great news coming from Iran. We need to pray for this nation and also learn from their exploits.

On the 20th of December, 2019. Prophet Toyin Oluwibe with the group of Evangelists in Prophetic Healing and Missionary Movement moved to KAJOLA again for another open-air crusade. This is based on the instruction given to Prophet Toyin Oluwibe from Jesus to organize another crusade in KAJOLA.

Prophet Toyin Oluwibe ministered on “The second coming of Jesus“. He gave a step-by-step narration of events that will take place the moment Jesus appears in the sky. He repeatedly asked people of KAJOLA about their preparation for that day. He said the second coming of Jesus will be when many Christians have slept off.

Many people gave their lives to Jesus after the message. Outstanding healing and deliverance took place in the crusade which we shall give the details at the right time.

We give glory to our Lord Jesus for His divine leading and empowerment for the work of end time evangelism.
